DP Ride Schedule

Delta Pedalers offer bike rides throughout the week.  Some rides occur on a regular weekly basis while others are a one time only ride.   Rides may be local or out of town.  Our “flagship” ride is the Sunday morning ride.  All of our rides are open to non-members and guests.  See our ride schedule below.

Club members have access to the club Yahoo Group (email) list to network with other club members. There is a club events calendar, route sheets and maps for local bay area rides, ride photos, a database to enter club mileage, and more.

Upcoming Events and Away rides – Keep dates in mind

August 19th – Russian River Cruise with Cynthia Dawson – Ride the scenic Russian River landscape with our very own and recently relocated Delta Pedaler, Cynthia Dawson.  Join in on the fun to get the history of her new community and the best of cycling adventures on this epic ride!  Plan accordingly as we will be meeting at 7:30am -7:45am at the Forestville Youth Park in Forestville, Ca (about 10 miles west of Santa Rosa) and plan on spinning around 8:00am – Ride will be approximately 47 miles and approximately 2,700 of elevation gain.  Moving speed will hover around 14-16 +/- mph depending on terrain and weather conditions.  The ride will head uphill to Occidental on country roads surrounded by redwoods.  After a nice downhill, our first rest stop will be at the Wild Flower Bakery.  This is a great shop in historic Freestone and they love bikes!  On the road again, we will pass the town of Graton on our way to Healdsburg on the east side of the Russian River.  Downtown Healdsburg after the Memorial Bridge will be our next rest stop.  After the much needed rest, we will head out on West Side Road for our return to Forestville.   This is a NO DROP RIDE and we will regroup where it makes sense.  For a fast post ride recovery meal, we will be having a potluck in the park at our starting and end point.  Please let Burt know if you’d like to participate in the post ride potluck and what you’d like to bring.
