Belated season's greetings! Hope all of you have been able to get out on your respective bikes, dodging raindrops and groping through the fog, in order to work off a few thousand holiday calories.
There will be no January newsletter or meeting but Ole reminded me today about the annual-but-informal New Year's Day Mt Diablo event... and wunderground says that the chance of rain is about 50%. Why not start off the new year with a little sweat (hopefully no blood or tears). Go get 'em.
The February meeting (Sunday, Feb 6) will feature either Ole's slideshow about his bike tour through India (new to me but some of you may rememebr this classic) OR a powerpoint show about last September's bike adventure in Italy (Donna and Jay K, Pat D and I).
If that isn't enough to thrill all of you, the really big news is that the new club jerseys should have arrived by then. Yay! Be sure to bring your check book or cash to pay up or pay off your balance. Money is good.
THE JERSEYS HAVE ARRIVED (in the USA, at least). The final payment is on its way and as soon as the check clears (as if we would stiff them!), the jerseys will be completing the final leg of their 4+ year journey.
Come to the February meeting to claim your 2005 version of the Delta Pedaler jersey, to see a slide show ....and to think about who you want to honor as your club officers for next year. Be there or be elected!
