This will be a multi-day event held at Infineon Raceway.
Criteriums, road race on the track, MTB, downhill, trail run, etc. Vendors with booths.
My race team is working with promoter to put the event on. If you would like to volunteer to be a course marshal, help register racers, or other bicycle related tasks, let me know.
Volunteering includes race entry.

Good luck with the event--unfortunately same weekend as the Davis Double.

For you that don't know where - Infineon used to be Sears Point. It's located on the way to Novato.
Besides races there are Mountain bike and road rides.

I'm racing Friday in the circuit race on the track. Just like Nascar, only like 150 mph slower on the straights! |

Started my volunteering out Infineon today. Great place to see the pro's race. Entry is $10/vehicle. The cross country course looks tough, several of my team mates had to push their bikes up the hill on their second practice lap, some on their first :-).

Was a great event - saw Alison and other top pro's.
Pre iding the cross country course, I had to push my bike up the big climb. Felt better when I saw the Pro's pushing theirs in the race!
Course was loose in a lot of places, managed to bury my front wheel to the hub. Balanced on the front wheel for a split second, then it was over the bars. Only my pride was hurt.
The circuit race was a challenge, the climb out of turn 1 hits 17 % at the top. Not bad until about the 10th time up, then it hurt. I used an 11-23, so no bail out gear. But I hit mid forties in the 11.
Crit was fun, wierd riding on the dragstrip where all the rubber is on the track.
Supposedly this will be an event for the next few years.
