Looks like they're paving shoulders on the Byron Hwy. (J4) between Byron and the Alameda County line. That's a good thing. I try to avoid as much of this section as possible by taking Byron Hot Springs/Holey Rds.

I was stuck in the mess today. Wouldn't hold my breath for bike lanes...probably just widening traffic lanes.
