Just got my new headlight! Anyone up for a night mountain bike ride? I was thinking maybe Contra Loma any Monday or Friday night, starting about 5 or 5:30pm ending anywhere from 7:pm to 9:pm. Just to let you know, Contra Loma and Black Diamond Mines are officially closed after dusk. The Club can't sanction any rides that occur when the park is closed.
Well that's a bummer, last I looked Black Diamond Mines closed at dusk and I thought Contra Loma was till 10:pm. see link:

You may be right about Contra Loma. It's a separate, distinct park from Black Diamond Mines. I would check it out (ask at the kiosk or observe the posted signs).
I used to ride at night at Briones. Its curfew was 10 pm. Redwood Regional and Chabot too.
