I'm looking for older road bikes, parts, etc. Wouldn't mind donations if you have one lying around that needs some TLC. I restore what I can and resell bicycles to the public (mainly people who cannot afford to buy a brand new bicycle). I will not accept anything Univega (I think they are poor in quality). Raleigh, Bianchi, Motobecane, etc. accepted. I also accept older parts for restorations and projects. I am slowly but surely selling off the bicycles I have listed on craigslist. If anyone can show me how to sell on ebay that would also be greatly appreciated as I am not getting and good responses on craigslist. But anyway, if you have an older road bicycle you are going to just give to goodwill let me know, I want to knock out the middleman. -Bryon Wright

Correction and additional info on what I am looking for. Personally I dislike places that do the same work I do and then sell their bicycles for 2-300 dollars apiece. I usually try to make a $20 profit for replacement parts, grease etc. I'm not in this to earn money really, it's more of a hobby that can benefit the community.
More info on what I'm looking for. Higher end Univega/any Italvega Raleigh, Masi, Bianchi, Schwinn, etc. (if it's a frame you have that is collecting dust let me know the frame material, I'll try to scrounge up some cash to buy it off you.) I also love parts from Shimano, Huret, Campy, SR, Suntour, Stronglight. ***The older the more preferred***
Other lower end bicycles/parts are very hard to sell and usually are not worth fixing up due to their low quality of craftsmanship. If you think you have something of value that you'd be willing to part with just email me and let me know how much you want, unfortunately since I am doing this as a non-profit venture I can not afford much.
Also, if anyone can tap out a Bottom bracket/derailleur hanger please let me know and how much it will cost, I am trying to update my Raleigh so I can have a usable road bike. |
