volunteers for what exactly? I'm almost an EMT if that's what you're talking about but otherwise I can still volunteer if that's before August 21, I can use the resume material and I'd rather volunteer for something I'll enjoy.

I will be there absolutley! Watching a pro race such as this up close and personal is a real thrill. Hell, you can always record it on the tube and watch it over again later. I will be wandering about The Embarcadero and hoof it over to Taylor St hill for a couple of loops then I'll be working at the Lance Armstrong Foundation booth at Justin Herman Plaza from 2-4. Remember, the men's race starts at 11 am this year, unlike an 8:30 or so start the past 2 years. Women's race starts at 7:30.

Enjoy!

Veronica/ Thom--great great photos! I took a few photos with a non telephoto lens, and managed to get pictures of people I never heard of. The Jittery Joes Team may not have placed anyone in the final standings, but they win for best kit of the day.

Found on the web someones photos of race in the porno district, and captures Donna and I (in orange cap) standing in front of some topless club. Now on Gruppo Pumpkincycle website:

http://www.geocities.com/gruppopumpkincycle2003/gruppopumpkincycle22.html

So when are we going into SF to try the Fillmore hill???

Best

Great shots Thom and Veronica! As far as Jay's fotos go on the Gruppo Pumpkincycle site...just remember that he loves to cut and paste body parts. Don't believe everything that you see!

I second Joann's forewarning, Veronica. Don't believe everything you see if Jay is involved in any way shape or form! I have been known to be in photographs with several tiny pumpkins with feet surrounding me while sleeping peacefully in bed! Unless my head is pasted onto Bo derek's body, it "ain't" me and I am not guilty!

Jay, I have no idea where you're getting your English to Dutch translations, but it's not making it back to English very well in any of the translators I'm using.

Care to clarify the situation?

Hell with Dutch--Flanders should be a separate country from Belgium--it's Flemish!

Donna, actually Jay is quite accurate in his response...I do, however, disagree with his opinion towards the following....

Oh that wacky Jay, good for a smile in any language.

quote:
A couple scheldberichten is of it the cause that the guest book on the official Internet site Gruppo Pumpkincycle since has been taken gistermorgen of the Internet. Two guests found the necessary grof to do and offend Joann & Donna. But it continued last. For this reason I have closed the guest book, say to web master Jay.

"if you want discuss, you must that to do on a Internet forum, in a guest book" does not find, Jay. Censure is not this, there he marks. And that he cannot negative comment on Joann, which is already not at all where, he says.

But it is striking that these last days the teneur has been turned sensitively in that guest book. The site was submerged firstly with support bulletins to Donna. But these last days the tone is very differently. One Donna wrote Thursday afternoon: Voil, its reputation still one to the small flags... now we know the cause of that dikke ring: swollen by the spuitjes, infuusjes and pilletjes...

Good try Slug--my Flemish spelling, 'grandma' and usage is worse than my English, maybe that is why you couldn't provide a complete translation.
