During the next DP social meeting (Aladino's Pizza club house, Antioch, Sunday, May 2, 7pm, I will be bringing along different style and size samples of Verge jerseys for members to try on in preparation for ordering new club jerseys. I am not wedded to using the Verge company but THIS WILL BE THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO SIZE FIT BEFORE ORDERING if we decide to go with Verge. The sample jerseys must be returned to the company within 14 days so I will be sending them back to the company after the meeting. I currently have a jersey made by Verge in a small men's size and the fit is comfortable for me. No jerseys will be ordered until the following conditions are met: a minimum of 25 articles need to be ordered at a given time, and at least 6 of any one style; all jerseys must be pre-paid. I can't tell you the cost at this time as I have yet to submit our club design and colors for an estimate. I believe that my CCC Verge jersey (made from a standard stock design with the club emblem and 3 colors) was somewhere in the neighborhood of $55 but the price would be higher for a custom jersey such as the DP's. If anyone out there has the latest information about the new colors which were selected last year, please contact me or bring the info to the meeting! Once we establish how many members want to order jerseys, the next step is to submit our design and colors for an estimate. Verge would then quote us a price. Only then would I request your specific order and a check to cover the cost (before ordering).
Also, just a reminder that this coming Sunday, May 2, at the next DP social meeting, the club will be holding a swap meet. Bring your extra whatevers to swap or sell and lots of money to buy other member's stuff.

actually, i am in need of an extra large jersey for tonight's meeting in Brentwood for the national bike month proclamation. Call me at 550-6205 if you know of someone who is willing to sell me or loan me a jersey for this occasion.
