My son Allan Jr. has come to live with me. I'm trying to get him interested in cycling (gee I wonder why?) and he says he's afraid of falling off.
I gave it a little thought and realized that it would feel safer at first if he'd come out with me on a tandem. I asked if he'd ride with me if I could get one and he said "yes".
Certainly I'm not about to BUY one based on a 13-year-old's tentative "yes". But if somebody has a tandem that they could spare for a few weeks, I'd really like to try it out with him to see if he can get interested in cycling.
